While contributing to our school’s fundraising efforts is not mandatory, we do have several fundraising campaigns each year to help meet any needs that have been identified. Each year, school needs are evaluated by the staff, board and attending families. Fundraising efforts then begin in hopes of meeting the financial goals necessary to fill the needs. Our School Board begins by planning the campaign and it is then executed by our wonderful parent volunteers. The fundraising campaigns at First Lutheran Preschool & Kindergarten can vary from year to year, but we have had the most success with our SCRIPS program and basket raffles.
Each year, throughout the year, we offer the SCRIPS program which helps our school receive a kick back from local merchants when you purchase gift cards through our school SCRIPS program. It is really simple to do! Check out the easy order button on our home page!
Each spring we have an exciting and successful Basket Raffle in which families can either donate or procure items to add to themed baskets that we then raffle off at our Annual Ice Cream Social-Student Art Walk. This is an exciting family event and draws a lot of interest from our families and patrons that support us with their donations.
