Kidmoves is a dance enrichment program offered only for students at First Lutheran Preschool & Kindergarten.
Each Kidmoves class is 1/2 hour and includes the following:
- warm- up and stretching
- interactive exercises to build community and encourage musicality and rhythm
- movement that travel across the floor incorporating some basic dance techniques and that also develop athleticism and coordination
- creative improvisation with props
All classes are taught by Karen Herr, MFA in Ballet Teaching/Choreography and former professional dancer.
Classes will take place in the “upper room” at the end of the school day and will be offered as follows:
Doves: Wednesdays 11:30-Noon and Thursdays 11:30-Noon
Lions: Wednesdays 12:00- 12:30 and 12:30-1:00
( Classes are subject to a minimum enrollment of 5, maximum of 10 children)
Recommended attire: comfortable “everyday” clothing and socks. Parents will be invited to observe their children during the final class of each session.

Tuition ranges from $80.00-$110.00 for 9-11 week sessions, payable at time of registrations. There are no refunds for missed classes, but students are welcome to attend other sessions if a class must be missed. Please make checks payable to First Lutheran Preschool & Kindergarten. Karen will process and post your accounts.
